A:Hi,Mr. Wilson! What brings you here today?
A:你好，威爾森先生!今天什么風把你刮到這兒來了?
B：Hi, Mr. Wu! Long time no see. I’ve come to register a trade mark.
B:你好,吳先生!好久不見了，我今天是來給商標注冊 的。
A:It seems to me that you have put much more stress on trade mark registration now than before.
A:唔，看來你比以前更加重視商標注冊的事了。
B：Yes. Our product, colour TV, sells welt in your market. In order to uphold our right and profits, we think it is high time to have it registered.
B:不錯。我方的彩電在這兒很暢銷。為了維護我方的權 益，我想是該將此商標在這兒注冊了。
A：How right you are! As a saying goes, the trade mark is an inseparable part of the commodity and an intangible asset of an enterprise.

B;You said it. That's why I’ve come here、Well, Mr. Wu, could you give me a brief account of the registration here?

A ： With pleasure. When a foreign enterprise makes application for trade mark registration in China, he should entrust a representative from the Trademark Office of CCPIT to go through the formalities. Generally speaking，the following documents are needed：an application in duplicate，power of attorney in duplicate and a certificate of nationality.
A:可以。如果外國企業(yè)打算將其商標在中國注冊,他應 委托中國國際貿易促進會的代理人代辦手續(xù)。一般來 講，需要提供這些文件：申請書的'副本，委托書的副本 和國籍證書各一份。
B ： How long do we have to wait before we get the approval after handing in the application?
B:遞交申請后我們要等多久才能收到申請注冊商標的批準書呢?
A： Not too long. The Trademark Office examines the application, issues preliminary approval and publishes the trade mark. All these will take two or three months.
A:不太長。商標注冊機構審查申請，發(fā)布初步批準書和 公布已注冊的商標，通常這一過程要花費兩到三個月 時間。

B:Yes,but the transferee need to make the application to the Trade Mark Bureau, too.

A： What shall we do if an imitation of our brand is found?

B：lf so, you ought to lodge an appeal to the law firm?
B:如果是這樣,貴公司應向法律事務所申訴。
A：What about our loss?
A:損失怎么辦?
B：The counterfeiter ought to compensate for the loss thus suffered.
B:仿冒者應賠償由此造成的損失。
