The Application of Primary English Teaching Material
Abstract
Accompanied with the carrying out of the New English Curriculum, many experts and teachers try to find some proper approaches of primary English teaching. This thesis aims to find out effective teaching ways combines with a certain teaching material in the English teaching of primary school. Bases on theories about child’s advantage in learning English, the thesis first briefly discusses the necessity of offering English course in primary school and some compile principles of the material. Then, the thesis employs research methods of questionnaires to investigate the application of the teaching material and corresponding teaching process in a primary school. Through the analysis of the result of the investigation, we can see the students’ attitudes to their teaching material and their interests and advantages in English learning. Finally, based on the investigation, and combined with discussion on the development of the students’ interests and English skill, the thesis put forward some effective teaching methods and suggestions.

摘 要
隨著英語新課程標準的頒布實施，許多專家和教師都試圖找到1些適合于小學英語的教學方法與思路。本文旨在針對某1確定小學英語教材，找到有效的教學方法。論文首先以小學生學習英語的相關理論為依據，簡要解釋了開設小學英語的必要性以及小學英語教材的編寫要點和原則。接著，采用問卷調查的研究方法，就某所小學對教材的應用及相應的教學過程進行了調查，通過對調查結果的分析，我們可以看出這些小學生對他們所使用英語教材的態度以及他們學習英語的興趣和優勢。最后，本文就調查結果，對教學中關于提高學生學習英語的興趣和英語學習英語技能等提出了1些方法和建議。
